I’m on a high, a Flarrow high. Because.That.Was.Awesome. The 2nd annual highly anticipated Flash x Arrow crossover did not disappoint. If anything it exceeded every expectation I had, and this was only part one. The episode balanced stunts, bad ass villainy, Olicity, and humor blending the best of what makes The Flash and Arrow into a Flarrow conglomerate. So let’s do this before my high crashes!

It’s the year of Diggle and it’s about damn time. From this moment forward I will be referring John Diggle as Yoda Diggle. David Ramsey gave his best, raw, and most emotional performance of the series. And you know Diggle enacted his Yoda powers because I even tolerated Laurel and Ray Palmer this episode. Stunt coordinator makes a brilliant directing debut and the pulls out the physical and emotional punches in this episode.
I will be upfront, if you are a fan of comic canon and a fan of Grodd, this review is not for you. At the end of last night’s episode of “The Flash”, I was left with 1 question: “If I wanted to watch ‘Planet of the Apes’, then I would have watched just that, not some TV knock off”. Sorry, but tonight’s Flash episode was my least favorite ever. Not even Cisco saved this for me.

“Felicity Smoak is one of the smartest, most badass women on the planet.”– Yoda John Diggle. Wiser words could not have been spoken. However, even the strong and smart experience struggles. Tonight’s episode “Lost Souls” marks my favorite for the series as Felicity takes center stage. In my opinion, this is Emily Bett Rickards Emmy reel. Let’s just get into it:
Last week “The Flash” left me uninspired, and I have to say save the last 15 minutes, so did tonight’s episode. We are finally treated to the first Zoom and Flash showdown, and it was intense!! And once again, my love for Cisco has no end.
There was a bit of trepidation on my part when it came to this episode. Two questions loomed over it: 1. Are they really just going to resolve the triangle here or were they going to force some further obstacle? And 2. Is Britney going to pull this off? The writers, of course, did not let me down and handled the Jane-Rafael-Michael conflict in a fairly realistic manner. And Britney, well, Britney did her thing. Continue reading
It’s no secret that I am not a Laurel Lance fan. I anxiously wait for the day she will be written off the show and Arrow can focus on the characters who do matter (HINT: OTA!). However, in order for that transition to happen, a somewhat Laurel centric episode needs to happen. Lets recap why the probability of Laurel in the grave just went up.
To be honest, I had difficulty writing this recap/reaction. I texted my fellow blogger, Juvi to relay my frustration. She gave me some great advice: Not every recap needs to be a masterpiece (for the record none of mine are) and to write about why it didn’t inspire you.
